JAMES CHESTERSONMembership & FundraisingAs President of the Terre Haute Community Band, Inc. Jim oversees the day to day operations of this non-profit corporation and acts as the Music Director for the Terre Haute Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra. The corporation is headquartered at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College where Jim is an adjunct instructor. The Sinfonietta Pops Orchestra serves as a vehicle for Saint Mary’s music students to earn credit for performing in a musical ensemble.
Jim was named President of the corporation in 2005 after retiring from the Indiana Air National Guard with thirty-seven years’ service in the Air Force. His Air Force background included being Chief of Security, Chief of Disaster Plans and Operations and being named the second Command Chief Master Sergeant for the 181st, a position he held on September 11th, 2001. Jim was a Music Education Major while attending Indiana State University from 1968 to 1972 and currently lectures for the Osher Life Long Learning Institute group at ISU on musical subjects, primarily opera. Jim remains active not only in music but also in veterans’ affairs. He served two terms as 1st Vice President for the National Guard Association of Indiana and is currently serving on the Vigo County Veterans Memorial Park steering committee and a Board Member of the Wabash Valley Base Community Council. Jim and his wife Karen, are the parents of three sons, Jamie, Ryan and Evan, and the grandparents of Brayden and Lucca. |

RUSSELL WARLEYMembership & FundraisingDr. Russ Warley joined Rose-Hulman in 2017 as Dean of Faculty and Professor of Chemical Engineering. He came to Rose after 13 years at Penn State Erie, the Behrend College where he served as a Mechanical Engineering faculty, Chair of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering and most recently as Interim Director of the School of Engineering.
Dr. Warley holds a B.S. from the University of Akron and a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University, both in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining academia he worked for 20 years in industry in the area of elastomer materials and processing. Seventeen of those years were spent at LORD Corporation supporting manufacture of aerospace components such as vibration isolators, dampers, and elastomeric bearings. He also worked at Cabot Corporation as a researcher in the area of carbon black. |
Director of Operations

KARA MCINTOSHVice PresidentKara McIntosh is in her 15th year at the Terre Haute Regional Airport, currently serving as the Director of Operations. In this role she manages the airfield, FAA funding, development projects, as well as overseeing both the maintenance and public safety departments of the airport. She has previously held positions in development and marketing at the airport as well. Kara has spent over 20 years in aviation in various aspects including flight dispatch, international flight planning and airline operations.
Kara attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where she earned her degree in Aviation Business Administration. She is a member of the Aviation Association of Indiana serving on the General Aviation Committee as well as the American Association of Airport Executives as a Certified Member and serves on the executive board of the Wabash Valley Base Community Council and the Terre Haute Air Show Executive Board. Kara grew up in a military family and has lived all over the United States. She relocated to Terre Haute over 15 years ago and resides here with her two children. |
Military Veteran Program Coordinator

BILL LITTLEPresidentBill Little has over 22 years of combined military service between the Army and Army National Guard with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bill completed his MSW degree from Indiana State University in 2016 and is currently the Military Veteran Program Coordinator at Hamilton Center. This role provides mental health and supportive services to veterans, active duty personnel and their family members in the Wabash Valley. He is passionate about battling mental health stigma and advocating for quality mental health access for all military personnel and family members. Bill actively participates in initiatives to combat veteran homelessness and works tirelessly to end veteran and military suicide. |

PAT RALSTONMembership/FundraisingPatrick Ralston is a Vietnam Veteran and is currently the Vice President of Business & Economic Development and Government Relations at First Financial Bank. Additionally, Patrick is involved with 12 organizations in the Wabash Valley and works hard to improve the quality of life for everyone in our community.
Patrick is proud of the large military presence in our community, with the 181st Intelligence Unit plus other military assets, and is passionate about providing support to them. RICK BURGERSupportRick Burger serves as District Manager for Terre Haute, Clinton, Greencastle, Spencer, and Brazil for Duke Energy. This year marks his 41st year with Duke Energy. During his career, he has held various leadership roles in Greencastle, Rochester, Vincennes, Lafayette, and Terre Haute, Indiana.
Since transferring to Terre Haute from Lafayette in August 2002, Rick has become involved in over fifteen boards and organizations, sometimes serving multiple terms. Rick stated: “Working for Duke Energy allows me to bring many resources together to make a difference for our communities. Supporting economic development, education, quality of life, and creating jobs, together we will get the job done.” Rick is a native Hoosier and was born in Brazil, Indiana. He and his wife, Karen, have four children and five grandchildren. Rick has always had a sincere interest in farming while growing up on the family farm. He still actively helps his brother and father farm in Jasonville. |

ROB LUNDSTROMFinance CommitteeRob Lundstrom has extensive expertise in financial and strategic management which has been developed through his continuing involvement in a wide range of executive management roles focused on strategic and financial advisory services.
As an active member of his hometown community of Terre Haute, IN, Rob currently serves as a Board Trustee and Chairman of the Finance Committee for Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, and Board Director and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Indiana State University Foundation. He is currently a Board Director for the Wabash Valley Family Sports Center, the Vigo County Historical Society, and Digonex, Inc. He has formerly served as a Board Director for the Wabash Valley United Way, Downtown Terre Haute, and the Miracle on 7th Street, as well as the Advisory Board for the Indiana State University College of Technology. Rob is an active supporter of U.S. Military active duty personnel and veterans’ causes, and he is currently serving as the Honorary Commander of the 181st Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Group (ISRG) of the Indiana Air National Guard. He is also a founding Board Director for the Wabash Valley Base Community Council which serves as a civilian liaison organization dedicated to supporting local military personnel. Rob has an MBA in Finance from Virginia Commonwealth University, and two undergraduate B.S. degrees in Accounting and Sports Studies from Indiana State University. He has instructed in volunteer business educator roles, and formerly served as a Career Center spokesperson for the Indiana State University Placement Office. |

JEREMY GALLMANEventsJeremy Gallman has been named Chief Operating Officer at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. Mr. Gallman comes to Regional Hospital from Ocala Health in Florida, a two-hospital system in HCA’s North Florida Division, where he spent two years as Vice President of Operations and held responsibility for key service lines across both the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Prior to his work at Ocala Health, Mr. Gallman served as an Assistant Vice President at North Florida Regional Medical Center, the flagship teaching hospital of HCA’s Florida facilities, in Gainesville, Florida and began his healthcare career in 2001 at Carolinas HealthCare System (now Atrium Health) in Charlotte, North Carolina serving in various leadership roles there. A native of North Carolina, Mr. Gallman earned an undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a MBA in Healthcare Management from Western Governors University. Joining him in Terre Haute are his wife Jacquelyn and their two children, Justin and Jordan. “It is a privilege to serve on the Board of the Wabash Valley BCC as we work to link our military and business communities together in meaningful ways.
